Requirements
Main responsibilities:
Greet guests upon arrival and escort them to their table.
Provide information on the menu, daily specials and current promotions.
Take reservations by phone, online or in person and record them accurately.
Organize queues and manage customer wait times.
Coordinate with the service team to ensure tables are prepared and cleaned efficiently.
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Ensure clear and fluid communication with other staff members to ensure efficient service.
Maintain a clean and organized environment in the reception and front desk area.
Requirements:
Have previous experience as a host/hostess.
Welcome guests with warmth and personalization.
Take and confirm guest reservations.
Assign tables to guests.
Comply with hygiene and sanitation standards and procedures.
Follow Marriott and company standards.
Have sales and customer service skills.
Have professional attitudes and behaviors such as good memory, verbal communication skills, stress tolerance, physiognomy, etc.
Have knowledge of the immediate area and points of tourist interest.
Have knowledge of the OpenTable system.
Be bilingual in French and English, given that we serve an international clientele.
Have experience in reception in large volume restaurants/terraces.
Have crowd and stress management skills.
Be able to stand for long hours.
Provide impeccable customer service.
Languages: Bilingualism (French and English) spoken and written is required in this position, as we serve an international clientele.
